About the event

On May 24th, 1976, a blind tasting of French and Californian wines took place in Paris, pitting some of the most renowned wines of France against a group of relatively unknown California wines. To everyone's surprise, the California wines emerged victorious, shocking the wine world and forever changing the perception of American wines. We will be tasting the wines from some of the original houses, from Chateau Montelena to Grgich and Latour.

We will be hosting our own version of the Judgement of Paris with a modern take while tasting some of the iconic participating wine regions and houses. We will finish conducting our own blind tasting and you will blindly judge which are the best wines of the evening! Will USA or France reign? Can't wait to see!

We will be tasting 6 wines including some of the original winemakers that competed in the event along with a cheese…
